  • Our next collection date will be THIS Sun September 15.  We encourage you to support the families in need.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

  • In response to the Food Bank’s recent appeal to address food insecurity and poverty needs, parishioners are encouraged to bring donated food to St. E. from September 22 to October 6.  The most needed food includes canned fish, canned meat, canned vegetables, peanut butter, cooking oil, flour, pasta, rice, etc.  We will transfer all donated food to Mississauga Food Bank before Thanksgiving so that families in need can have a Thanksgiving dinner.

  • In addition, all the donated fresh produce collected from St E. Community Garden Network on October 20 will also be donated to Mississauga Food Bank on the next day.

  • Let us pray to our Lord to help our neighbors through this year's Thanksgiving Food Drive.

Oct 6th 10:30am St. Elizabeth’s 32nd Anniversary Joint Holy Communion Service & Lunch Fellowship

  • Rev. Siu Chun Leung will be preaching in Cantonese and English

  • Children’s program will begin after choir anthem

  • No Adult Faith Group & Timothy Group scheduled

  • We invite you to join us for lunch following service that Sunday.

  • All are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there!

  • Please purchase your lunch tickets this Sunday after service.

  • Adults $15, children 5-12yr $7.

  • Children 4 or under are free.

Season of Spiritual Renewal

  • Toronto Diocesan Season of Spiritual Renewal will start a series of workshops in September. For details, please visit bit.ly/3y1ZMCy or see poster on bulletin board.

  • Rev. Canon Philip Der will lead two of these workshops. The first one will be on Tuesday, September 24, focusing on small group ministry and church revival, in Cantonese. The second one will be on Wednesday, October 9, on the same topic, in English. Time: 1-2.30 pm.

Primate’s Retirement

  • Archbishop Linda Nicholls, Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, will retire today. We thank her for taking up this important role since 2019. According to the Church canon, if the Primate leaves office before the General Synod, the next most senior Archbishop will succeed as Acting Primate. Starting tomorrow, Archbishop of Ontario, The Most Rev. Ann Germond, will take up office. May God bless them!

English Bible Study

  • Starting from October 2, Rev. Leung will lead a Wednesday night Bible study on the book of Jonah. We will be using the same zoom link as the 8 p.m. Wednesday night Prayer Meeting. The book study will take place twice a month with follow-up discussions on a WhatsApp Chat group. Please contact Yvonne Zheng to add you to the group.

Garage Sale and Fundraising (St Elizabeth’s Anglican Church and Carefirst Joint Program)

Cantonese Thursday Evening Bible Study – Aug & Sep Break
