THE APOSTLE'S CREED  使徒信經

We believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. The third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy universal church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.

我信上帝，全能的父，是創造天地的主。 我信我主耶穌基督，是上帝的獨子，因聖靈的能力成孕，由童貞女馬利亞所生。他在本丟比彼拉多手下受難,被釘在十字架上，受死，埋葬，降至陰間;第三天復活; 升天，坐在聖父的右邊。他將要再來，審判活人死人。我信聖靈，我信聖而公的教會，我信聖徒相通, 我信罪得赦免，我信身體復活，我信永生。

The Nicene Creed 尼吉亞信經

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made. Who, for us men for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary, and was made man; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end. And we believe in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life; who proceeds from the Father and the Son; who with the Father and the Son together is worshiped and glorified; who spoke by the prophets. And we believe one holy catholic* and apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

我們信獨一上帝，全能的聖父，是創造天地，並一切有形無形萬物的主。我們信獨一的主，耶穌基督，上帝的獨生子，在萬世以前為父所生；從上帝所出的上帝，從光所出的光，從真神所出的真神；是生成，非造成，與聖父同體。萬物都是藉著他受造。他為要拯救我們世人，從天降臨：因聖靈的大能，由童貞女馬利亞所生，並成為人。在本丟彼拉多手下，為我們被釘十字架；被害，受死，而葬。應驗了聖經的話，第三天他復活；升天，坐在聖父的右邊。他將在榮耀中再臨，審判活人、死人，他的國永無窮盡。我們信聖靈，是主、是賜生命的，從聖父所出。和聖父聖子同受敬拜，同享尊榮。他憑眾先知傳語。我們信使徒所傳唯一聖而公的教會。我們承認為赦罪所設的獨一洗禮。我們盼望死後的復活，並來世的永生。
