It was really great that “Love in Pandemic” was restarted again during this second wave of the pandemic. More than one hundred articles had been published in this network so far. Each article was unique in its style, content and implication. Every time I finished reading an article, I did experience self-reflective moments and had sensational feelings and felt my heart resonating with the article. I really enjoyed reading these articles in the “Love in Pandemic” network.
Whether one is happy or not depends on one’s personal preference. If one holds one’s heart with gratitude and appreciation towards things or people around him or her, one is certain to find much joy in them. Cherish of what one has, one will realize how much one possesses, and how happy one is. Only when one knows how to be content that one can appreciate true happiness.
With advanced technology, many issues can now be resolved. During last Christmas, due to the pandemic shut down, St. Paul’s fellowship was unable to hold its traditional Christmas celebration dinner party, but instead, we had a Zoom high tea party. We sang carols, had Bible readings, and had performances and played games. Some of our members even prepared some desserts and brought them to church. Each family would go to the patio outside the church and get their own share, in a 100% social distancing compliance mode. Some loving angels have actually home-delivered the desserts to us. How loving and caring!
As well, during Christmas, we received Christmas cards and presents from the church delivered by our caring team and fellowship team. We were so delighted and felt so blessed. Furthermore, Rev. Maria Ling had ordered 50 monthly calendars for St. Elizabeth families. I felt the gift was priceless as it conveyed to me her care, sincerity and thoughtfulness. What a blessed Christmas!
